Arguably more important than ever in the workplace, mental health and wellbeing have been recognised as key elements for productivity and happiness within the workplace.
16 million people in the UK experience mental illness. At least 1 in 4 people will experience some kind of mental health problem each year with 9 out of 10 of those people experiencing stigma and discrimination.
Poor mental health is one of the biggest issues in the workplace today, causing over 70 million working days to be lost each year. 1 in 6 people are currently experiencing mental health problems in the workplace in the UK alone. Evidence suggests that 12.7% of all sickness absence days in the UK can be attributed to mental health conditions. However, it's estimated better mental health support in the workplace can save UK businesses up to £8 billion per year.
But while companies of all shapes and sizes increasingly understand the importance of good mental health, many simply don’t feel confident handling and communicating these issues in the workplace.

MENTAL HEALTH WORKSHOP
Lukes Mental Health Workshop works best when delivered to small group with a maximum of 20 people.
The aim of the workshop is to create a confident and comfortable environment where people feel competent enough to share their own thoughts and feelings.
Sometimes people are too shy and afraid to talk about their own wellbeing. However, Luke’s Wellbeing Workshop is brilliantly led and is delivered in a fun and engaging way through using a range of practical activities.
Each participant will leave the workshop inspired to take action with practical advice that can be implemented straight away.
