Resilient people don’t wallow or dwell on failure; they acknowledge the situation, learn lessons from mistakes and move forward. They are mentally tough, and they thrive in this world.
Arguably more important than ever in the workplace, mental health and wellbeing is recognised as key elements for productivity and happiness within the workplace. 16 million people in the UK experience mental illness. Poor mental health is one of the biggest issues in the workplace today, causing over 70 million working days to be lost each year. However, it is estimated better mental health support in the workplace can save UK businesses up to £8 billion per year.
